fatturaestera: AI agent for self-billed invoices (autofatture)

For Italian businesses in regime ordinario buying software, ads, cloud and services abroad: fatturaestera reads the Qonto transactions with their attached receipts from non-Italian suppliers, drafts the self-billed invoice (autofattura, TD17/18/19) with every decision citing the governing article of Italian law, and holds it in a review queue. Nothing reaches SDI until a person clicks send. Live product, proven on real foreign purchases; access is contact-gated.

The problem

The purchase is easy to book. The autofattura is easy to forget.

When an Italian business buys software, ads, cloud or services from a non-Italian supplier (OpenAI, AWS, Google Ads and the rest), reverse charge applies: the business must issue a self-billed invoice (autofattura, TD17/18/19) and send it through SDI by the 15th of the following month. The receipts are paid and filed, the document codes and VAT treatment are easy to mix up, and late or missing autofatture carry real penalties.

What the agent does

What fatturaestera handles.

Reads the purchase, not just the amount

Qonto transactions with their attached receipts from non-Italian suppliers are the input. Supplier, amounts, currency and what was bought come from the documents you already keep.

Every decision cites the law

Each choice (territoriality, document type, VAT treatment, Natura) cites the governing article of Italian law, from DPR 633/72 to the Agenzia delle Entrate specifications. The citation travels with the draft.

FatturaPA XML by the official schema

Drafts are built as FatturaPA XML (TD17/18/19, self-invoice issuer) and validated against the official schema before the draft reaches your queue.

A review queue with the deadline on it

Each draft waits with its receipt, its citations and its due date (the 15th of the following month for foreign services). Low-confidence cases are deferred to a person, never sent on a guess.

One click to SDI, or fix it first

Correct anything in the draft, then send it with one click through an accredited SDI API. Nothing reaches SDI without that human click.

The record goes back to Qonto

The finished XML is attached back to the source transaction, so the compliant document stays next to the purchase that started it.

Where people stay in the loop

Reading and drafting run in the agent. You review and send each autofattura.

The agent does the reading, classifying and drafting. People keep the judgment: every autofattura is reviewed and sent by a person.

How it's managed

Watched, improved, accountable.

For fatturaestera we keep the classification rules and citations current with Italian law, watch the deadline engine, and keep the SDI send path ready so drafts stay compliant.

Citations kept groundedClassifications cite a pinned corpus of Italian law and Agenzia delle Entrate specifications, and every quotation is checked against the source text, never invented.
Nothing sends without a personThe send step is a human click by design. Drafts can be corrected or deferred, and low-confidence cases wait for review.
Deadlines surfaced before they biteEach draft carries its due date (the 15th of the following month for foreign services), so the queue shows what is coming before it becomes a regularization.
